Library Service for Students and Faculty

IWU students and faculty have access to both the on-site library and Off Campus Library Services (OCLS).

• The library, in room 123, is open from 8 am – 10 pm (Monday – Thursday) and 8 am – 5 pm (Friday and Saturday) and offers:
  • a reference collection
  • computers furnished with both Microsoft Office and Internet/database access.
  • a local OCLS librarian with a Masters in Library Science to assist with research, database training and computer skills. The librarian is available in the evenings and by appointment. Our local librarian can be reached at:

• The OCLS staff are based in Marion, Indiana, but they are only a mouse click or a phone call 800-521-1848 away! The OCLS team provides:
  • home access to over 30 online academic research databases.
  • rapid photocopy, fax, and email shipment of journal articles not found online.
  • assistance in research when the local librarian is not available.
